||Ampeg Super Echo Twin|
Can anyone give me any much needed info on an
Ampeg Super Echo Twin? I have come across one
for sale for less than $400 and feel like I
should jump on it- any recommendations?
There's exceptionally little information on
this amp on the web- not that i could find
Thanks very much.

If its the blue checked covered model it is very cool. I don't think they made too many. I have serviced hundreds of 60's Ampegs and have seen only one of the Echo Twins. Plan on doing some service. It will probably need at least power tubes and filter caps even if the owner says it "works". Well worth the cost in my opinion!
