Danelectro Californian, any info?
I'm looking for some information on a Danelectro Coral Californian 100 watt head. It has 4x 6L6 output tubes. I believe it has a weird built in tuner or something like that. Also has tremolo and spring reverb
Any information appreciated! Schematic? Is it worth checking out?

Book Of The Day The Ultimate Tone, Volume III by Kevin O'Connor
Have you ever wondered if there is a better way to build a Bassman, Champ, Plexi, an 800, AC-30, Bulldog or Portaflex? Or you wanted to build an SVT with off-the-shelf parts? How about a master-volume amp that doesn’t change tone with the master setting? Everything you need to know is right here, including: proper grounding techniques, wiring methods, and mechanical considerations. Eighteen chapters cover the “iconic” amps everyone knows and loves, with schematics and layouts for each, along with the technical history of the product. Eyelet-board and chassis-mounted tube socket construction is used throughout, for easy servicing and modding. TUT3 is very accessible even if you cannot fully read a schematic and is a "must have" if you are going to build an amp for your self.

Danelectro was made by Silvertone. In Schematic Heaven there is a Silvertone 1485 that has 4x6L6's.Could that be your "Californian"?

Sorry, but Silvertone did not make Danelectro. Silvertone was Sears' "house brand" which they had applied to record players, stereos, and organs as well as guitars. Sears would use different manufacturers to fill different price points or to meet increased demand. In the mid to late 60's one can find Silvertone branded guitars made by Danelectro, Kay, Harmony, and Japanese factories.
Brands made by Danelectro in addition to some Silvertones were Coral and Vincent Bell.
The last couple years of Danelectro are kinda sketchy, I'm sure that the Californian is from that time period. The 1485 doesn't have a built in tuning standard, so they are not the same. Might be similar, though.

Actually, it was the other way around. Danelectro built amps for Sears with the Silvertone name.
They also built stuff for other retailers, I'm not sure who.
