Truss rods: Vintage fender vs. double expanding I was just comparing notes on the Warmoth and USA Custom sites. They both talk about "vintage tone" vs. the truss rod design. I.E. the double expanding style Warmoth sells sounds different than the traditional design. I've got one of each, but I that's not much of a sampling, plus the Fender is a 70's bullet style. I think my Warmoth neck makes for a slightly louder guitar acoustically, regardless of which body it's attached to. Experience? Preferences? |
