Filtering & polarity protection for adding DC jack

Filtering & polarity protection for adding DC jack I'm going to be adding a DC jack to my wah pedal and was wondering if anybody could advise on components, values, or schematic for adding a filtering and polarity protection circuit. Seems to me that it involves a combination of a resistor/cap/diode. ok, well that's pretty much everything isn't it... here's my sign.     I noticed Zvex has a power-plate AC jack adapter on their website that has such a thing built into it. Even though I have a pretty good regulated power supply, I would still like to have the filter/polarity protection just as a percaution. Any advice would be appreciated.     Thanks,     -phil
