| Chuck in NC | Mesa/Boogie Modern Effect w/ Schematic When I sold my Triaxis the buyer had one of the first Mesa/Boogie 2:100s. I played through them with the modern switch on and was blown away. To me it made the amp sound like the volume was cranked but at low volume levels. Clean, no power tube distortion. It made it much more "open" sounding. Curious if anyone knowledgable can explain this "magic". Can this effect be easily built into an existing device, Mesa/Boogie V-Twin or cheap Behringer Tube-Mic compressor, or made as a seperate unit?
