John Fisher	Re: I tried rewinding a pickup. Yikes!! Well today by a miracle I got some #43 wire in small quantity. I made my homemade bobins and I am up to 4000 turns on my first bobin. I am using Mark Hammers idea with the hand drill and it is working real good. I plan to do 6500 on each bobin. These bobins are a little taller then what I believe is normal humbuckings. (3/8" wide on the inside) so if I want to, it seems that I can easily fit a lot more windings on each bobin if desired. I plan to saturate the coils. Will normal candle wax work? Thanks, John Fisher
