| Mickey Boy | Re: Partial- or half-potting It wasn't the Tele pickup you cooked was it? har har ,slap , ouch , sorry , anybody here actually bother with all the readings etc , capcitance , resonant peak etc , was it ever done in the production of pickups by the likes of fender and gibson or did they just have very loose guidelines with winding specs etc? I suppose once they went to machine wounds it would have been more consistent than handwinding , anyone? Mick |
