Still can't find anything before the end of April... Maybe it's no longer available..?.!.  
Are we talking about the magnet in a HUMBUCKER affecting the impedance of the coil(s)?  
I would have thought that the coils in a humbucker would remain *fairly* constant in terms of impedance as the cores are steel slugs or polepieces and the magnet is not part of the core...  
Please shoot me down in flames if I'm wrong.......  
But I'm thinking that tweaking the frequency response by altering the electrical properties of the coil isn't the only way that a pickup can be made brighter.....................
