    Me, too... at least until recently. I picked up the new Tweak Fuzz from Seymour Duncan, which was designed by Blues Saraceno's father. It's pretty cool with a 6 way rotary switch which selects frequency and depth, and a volume and a gain pot.

    I took the back off and it is all discrete components... none of this surface mount crap (although that it liable to change eventually).
