That is turning it into ad hominem attacks. It does not make your point stronger, in fact it makes people roll their eyes and give your post less credence. it is not necessary. When someone starts calling names, I usually assume they have no further points to present in rebuttal to mine. Ad hominem attacks turn debates into fights. Why be the first one to sling mud? WHy not be the last?
