How about active tone controls?

How about active tone controls?
As I'm about to "waste" a triode on passive tone controls, why not waste two (single 12A_7)?!
Usually, active tone controls are more effective and it gives me the option to select the number of band's. Four band would be just perfect.

I'm thinking to use a baxandall type tonestack (or other design with 2 tone controls and not much interactive) in the negative feedback loop of each triode. So two triodes, would be four band's. The problem is that there are lot's of baxandall variations, and almost always there is not much information about what component does or how to calculate the frequencies.

Can somebody sugest me solutions?

Thanks!
