Re: Framus and Bogner Ubershal schem? for reason I remember one review about a Peavey tweed bassman knockoff and a bit about how they improved over the original by not having the filter caps directly over heat emitting sources as on the original (i.e. the power tubes). And IIRC there were some pawnshop special type amps reviewed also. I stopped buying GP but I still have a bunch of old ones in very ratty condition.
