| Greg Simon | Re: 6973 tube pinout question I've always wondered how they sound as compared to an EL84 or 6V6, which they seem similar to in some ways for each. Smaller bottle of the EL84, but specs closer to a 6V6. I've got an old Thomas tone cabinet amp from an old Thomas organ that I was going to modify into a guitar amp, and it uses a pair of 6973's.
