What can you tell me about my Tube amp?

What can you tell me about my Tube amp?
I Just got finished putting my new 3 wire cord on my vintage Pine Electronics Tube amp...
I was told this amp is a 35-40 watt amp...

Anyways... it does sound nice, but its got a funny arangement of tubes... Can anyone tell me if i should leave it or upgrade it?
Its got a spare slot for another preamp tube... but its just a hole, no socket.

On the power side it has:
5y3GT
6v6GT

Pre:
12ax7
6av6
EMPTY
6av6

Ive seen the 5y3GT refered to as a Rectifier tube? what does this mean? Can i put another 12AX7 in there in the empty slot? or can i put 12ax7's where the 6av6's are? the sockets look smaller/different, but i cannot be sure.

thanks for any replies.
