If not try some new 6V6s, if you don't get any or a good sound after that chances are big you did blow the OT. The stock Fender speaker wiring/jack(s) does short the output when no speaker is connected. A "better/safer" way is to install a 5 Watt/270 ohms resistor across the output which does give a little protection when no speaker is connected. Hope this helps/good luck!!! Chris
