Just do what Bruce did tell but without that extra cap across the plate-resistor, hardwire a (let's say) 100p bright-cap across the bright-channel-volume-pot. I've never tried both methods (5E3 and 6G3) in one amp but it must be possible in theory. Just use one > 270k mixing-resitor from the "mod-channel"volume-wiper to the "std-channel" non ground volume pot lug/grid V2a. Chris
