Chris @ CMW amps | Re: ECC83 Hi Fabio An ECC83 i.o. a 12aX7 ain't no problem ( the ECC83 is an European 12AX7 ). The 12aY7 does have way less gain then a 12AX7/ECC83 so you'll get way more gain... It won't hurt but chances are big you'll need a 12aY7 anyway. Chris |
