Ribbon transducer question

DanJ | Ribbon transducer question Hello all, I have a (older/used) Carvin AE 185 with a ribbin transducer acoustic pickup installed in it. The D and A strings have a very weak output and the G is a bit stronger but not as loud as both E's and the B string. Is this an installation problem with the ribbon or is the transducer bad? Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks. DanJ |
