Actually I emailed a guy on Ebay who sells these and he told me about the Caswell Flash Copper plating kit, it plates steel in one operation, no nickel needed. Doesn't include the power supply but I think I can make one out of my Variac, the kit is about $150, not cheap. Should last a long time though. I think that spray zinc plating stuff is the way to go but copper sure looks good like Fralin does.....Dave
