|Nathan Shane||Piezo signal showing up on both Tip & Sleeve of 1/4"|
I'm having a problem with what appears to be a piezo signal bleed-through on my Parker. The piezo signal is very faintly showing up on the TIP of the stereo plug, which is supposed to carry "only" the humbucking pickup signal alone.
Just so you'll know, I have actually separated the HB signal from the parker's electronics, so the problem does not exist there.
From what I have deduced, it seems to be the "common ground" that is shared by both the HB and Piezo pickups that is allowing this bleed-through to take place.
Is there some sort of capacitor or some other component that I could use that would stop this bleed-through? By placing it in-line on either the piezo or the HB before it is tied to the common grounding point?
