jaysg | Re: First build, what to do? Fender or... Sign up and peruse www.18watt.com. You're describing needs which might be well answered by building a 2 el-84 or a 2 6V6 Fender amp. The archetypes are the Vox AC15 and the Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb. The way I interpret your interests, I would focus on the Vox AC15 family (Matchless, Sampson, et al) and a Marshall 18W variant called the MarWatt. |
