Thanks Michael. I should have thought of the Aiken site...Now I recall seeing that info while browsing it.  
Lowering the power isn't a problem. In fact my consideration is to use variable resistances in series with the cap to achieve different amounts of "bypass". I'll be experimenting with cap values also. I expect to get different compression characteristics from the different switch settings also. Which is fine since I'll mostly be using this switch for tuning overdrive character.
