crate v-series

Andy	crate v-series I was at the local music store today, where I buy all my music supplies, and I was playing a les paul 1960 through a crate v1512, which is a class-a, all-tube amp (p-p el84 output), and I thought it sounded really nice. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about crate equipment in the past, and I really like the v-series, from what I've heard so far. I was wondering what opinions the rest of you guys had on these new amps, and whether you think it would be worth the $499us to buy one.
