Enzo	Re: Half power switch for Peavey Classic 30? I was thinking that variation between tubes could possibly cause spurious current to flow between the screens. The resistors act like some sort of ballast to prevent this. Full resistor and filter cap wouldn't be needed. The resistor takes care of it.
