There is a local home shop guy here that is trying to get $50.00/hr doing Torres and Weber mods but couldn't pour piss out of boot if the directions were on the bottom.  
 
 
 
    If the directions were on the bottom of the boot, how would you read them without spilling anything? Seems to me that it would be better to have the directions attached to the shoelace, secured with a nylon cable tie so that they wouldn't fall off.  
 
 
 
    You could fudge a bit about the actual times since most work isn't done while the customer is waiting- right? So even if the posted price is $30 an hour, maybe they work union hours (you know, 30 minutes per hour) and the actual price is $60 an hour. Or you could charge portal-to-portal and then pace back and forth in your shop a lot to pad the bill. [Note to self: check with doctor on Monday about this medication he has me on. But the rash does seem to be getting better.]
