yes... as a teen metal kid I had an old 4x12" with ripped Eminence speakers (it cost me 50 bucks) As an experiment I cut a hole in the baffle and fitted a piezo horn tweeter. The idea was to add some extra grind to my guitar sound. It sounded completely crap (and if a metal kid could notice- it MUST have sucked) I also have a peavey bass cab with a horn. There is an adjuster for the horn and I find it's best with the horn almost completely off (but then- it is a peavey) steve C. | |
