My bass player has 2 Hartke 3500 amps each having the same problem, (he only uses one at a time). When he plays hard transient notes there is a loud crackle heard, this happens mostly at loud volumes regardless of the mix between tube and solid state. For speakers he uses 1 Hartke 4x10 and 1 Hartke 15" cab, the crackle is heard from both cabs (together and independantly). I've already tried a new tube, cleaned all jacks and pots and touched up some suspect looking solder on the pcb, to no avail ( I do have a schematic, but can barely read it cause it's so small). Since this is happening with both amps, I wonder if it is a design flaw, a cabinet issue or asking too much from this model amp? Any help would be great!! Thanks in advance,
