You just wire the diodes together and solder them to the cathode, then just treat it like 1/2 a 12AX7. On the 12AX7 pages of some tube manuals it even says "Refer to 6AV6 for characteristic curves." Apparently some old Fenders used them... They're cool to use - cheap dumpster tubes! If you pay over $2 a piece, you're paying too much. Jim
