However, I do agree with your point that best shape has alot to do with the sweep rate and the type of effect. It's also dependent on the depth of the sweep and, of course, the sound you are looking for. The Hyper-triangular idea looks like an easy way to mess around with the shape. I was actually thinking of a different article, the one in Guitar player, it used a 4046. I could not find it on-line anyway. Regards Rob
