Self-oscillation problem...

Jaunt | Self-oscillation problem... i have built a few state-variable filters, and they all seem to suffer from what sounds like self-oscillation when you have the resonance and frequency both up high. it doesn't seem to be a problem with the frequency low. has anyone run into this, and how can you tame self-oscillation? with the addition of an envelope follower and external CV pedal in, this will make a cool wah/envelope filter hehe thanks
