Voltage doubling circuit needed

PeterHVoltage doubling circuit needed
I have a power tranny rated at 150V DC 50 mA (135V AC center tapped). I have read this can be doubled to 300 V DC but cannot find a circuit showing the diode and filter cap circuitry. Does anyone know where I can find a circuit on how to achieve 300V DC? I want to use it in a generic (you know the one) preamp and effects send return running 3 12AX7
Does this voltage doubling have any inherant problems? I cannot find a guitar amp circuit that went this way.
Thanks
Peter
