There are two different Showman output transformers..
The single showman runs 4x6L6 into 8 ohms, and the dual
showman runs 4x6L6 into 4 ohms. You need to ascertain which one you have first. The dual showman was a lot more common AFAIK in which case a single 8-ohm speaker solves the problem.
If you have the single showman, then a 16-ohm speaker would be a good idea if you want to run 6V6's (which will want to see 4K, not 2k)
