Don Symes | Re: best way to change heaters to DC? Randall Aiken has a circuit published at www.aikenamps.com under one of the tech info headings. He doesn't use a bridge, and he may explain why not. I believe the upshot is that you only need do this for the first tube or two. Not much benefit from going DC on the later preamp tubes and none at all on the power amp tubes. |
