I've been waiting for this because that to my ears was by far the best sounding tranny used in the AC30. My fav was a non TB normal model with the Albions. Anyway I've used the Hoffman 30watt a few times in 2 EL84 amps. It's much better sounding to me then the one used in the AC15, and it's the same size so it's "almost" a pure drop in. I'd have to think about it in a 30watt version ( seems a little light on the iron...), but it's the best sounding of the off the shelf tranny I've found for my little home brew.
