I believe that you should charge for what you have in parts and time building your amps, or what is fair for what you put into it including experience.Or be like Mr Dumbell, and build just a few a year and rake in the big bucks, but i guess if he can get this much for his amps, good for him.But if i were you and interested in building, you could still make it easier,by haveing just the main things made to order and have the parts you need for the amps you build.Like chassis or faceplates.I know an old electronics guy here that has started building amps, and he handbuilds everything. He even hammered out the footswitch from a piece of alumminum and looks damn good. When this guy gets the info on what guitar players like in tone ,he'll build an amp thats hard to beat.I got to look at a little tweed amp he made, very good work.he learned his stuff from the military electronics schools.
Good luck on your amp building Peter..
