Steve M.	Re: 7199 substitute Marc, I've done this mod to my Dyna ST-70, FWIW. I got a Sound Values replacement board for my Dyna that is designed to use the 6GH8A instead of the 7199. It works great. From what I understand, the only differences between the two tubes are the pinout, and the 7199 has a twisted filament to reduce hum. Other than that I believe that they are electrically identical.
