 What IS this pup anyway?
I was at a guitar show last weekend, and I bought a weirdo pickup. It's cover is made of black plastic, it's the same oval shape as a Melody Maker pickup but bigger, no visible polepieces, and has a Gibson script logo across the top. I can't find it in my books.  
 
Any ideas?

I always wanted some of those Les Paul Recording guitars!  
 
It's a low impedance stacked coil humbucker, and some versions have multiple coil taps.
