P90 Magnets

| Ron | P90 Magnets Just wondering where you get your magnets for the P90 pickups you build? I'd like to try my hand at a set for my SG. Also, just wound a Strat pickup with 42 heavy formvar. It reads 5.50K, is that about "normal" for this type wire...more or less? Thanks, Ron |

IMHO, 5.5K is about right for a Strat pickup with heavy 42 gauge wire. How many turns? Ken |

| Dave Stephens | P90 magnets are the same size as humbucker magnets. Well you could probably get more wire on than that, I get about 6.5K and could go more, you mean heavy build not heavy gauge..... |
