Moderated group? Who cares? I do. Some groups are more moderated than others and pickupmakers@yahoogroups.com is barely so. One of the things that yahoogroups does is provide areas for files, images, and links. It can be an attic/library of all the stuff we've discussed and dragged out in the open on this forum, but a little better organized. I'm collecting stuff slowly and uploading it to the pickupmakers forum at yahoogroups with the hope that other folks will add a vegetable or two to the stone soup. Joe Gwinn's gaussmeter page is a fine candidate for the library. Any collection of pickup dimensions and windings is welcome. In short, we have yet another sandbox to play in, one that will let us keep our sand castles. -drh -- |

Re: Moderated group? Who cares? Yahoo groups isn't bad at all. I've used it on numerous occassions for large group assignments at uni. File uploads are real handy. The good thing it is that there is control of the data (eg. file uploads, links page). Regards, Michael |
