Fillister Screws
Hello,

I ran across this forum while looking for humbucker parts. I was wondering if anyone could help me find fillister screws to be used for the adjustable pole pieces. I've called Gibson and they pointed me to AllParts. I have found several different suppliers, but the screws are metric and the tops of them are to round. I am looking for screws with the same demensions and finish as the ones Gibson uses on their Burstbuckers. I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thank You,

Jake

Perhaps <http://www.microfasteners.com> has the needed screws. Please check and report back to the forum.

I doubt they have them if they do let me know, they are fillister head 5-40 and I think 3/4 length, steel, and here's the part why you won't find any....nickel plated....no one has them

Look in the Aviation world. They may have a safteywire hole in the head if you can live with that.

Mcmaster Carr has the 5-40 fillister head screws for cheap, but alas no nickel or chrome plating. Rats.
