Pretty damn appalling
There was a brief period where this sub forum was interesting and tolerable. For whatever reasons, someone has invaded it, splattered themselves all over every thread, repeating the same homophobic diatribes, and simplistic jingoism and venom, without the decency to stick to one handle and be recognized for the solitary voice they are.

Enzo, Bill, Mike S, Mike T, Dave, Pierre, Eric, Greg, Speed, Bob, and Steve (and any others I may have left out), hope to see you on other forums because this one has pretty much turned into the bottom of Lake Pontchartrain.

And suprisingly succinctly put... ;)

yeah, normally I am the target of all the disgust at my posts, thoughts, etc....:-)

Glad someone has stepped up to the plate and taken my former place.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

anon What is wrong with being free?
This is the BS forum. It is specifically reserved for BS so that BS doesn't clutter up the other boards. What is wrong with that. Politically oriented intellectuals need an outlet to speak and this board provides for that. This may shock you, but many people in the world have different views than yours. That doesn't make them immoral or evil individuals. They just think things through and come up with a different set of conclusions than you do. What is wrong with that.

Are you against free speach? I don't know if you are referring to my recent postings, but I was discussing some issues I consider very important and thought I was free to do so. Are you saying that certain things are illegal or immoral to talk about? What are those things specifically? I'm drawing a blank.

So tell me what is wrong with being free?

Mark posted an opinion, you posted a rebuttal...the system still appears to work.

I'm just sorry that:
A) Mark didn't mention me by name :( sniff sniff...as Mae West once said, "It's better to be looked over, than over-looked."
B) This forum isn't funny enough...though I'm still laughing at different anon's' comment.
