Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Holy moly, talk about a worthless obsession. How many hours did the person put INTO that? How much vitriol can one person harbour?

Geez, eh! And he slammed our beer!

This turkey obviously doesn't have much beer experience. If he thinks American beer is so great make him down a 2-4 of Schlitz! That'll clean out his attitude, big time!

Other than Michelob and some of the Sam Adams flavours I truly feel sorry for our American friends.

Maybe we should send them beer as foreign aid...

I agree with your beer assessment. The only time I drink domestic (american) beer is at a micro brewery. Had some real good brew at several of them.

Hi Mr Hammer, Wild Bill + any other canadians.

I realise that it is quite a long article and you don't have the spare time to read it in full. You need to read reasons #17 and #27 to see what the Authors point is.

I will point out that the Author is also highly critical of aspects of American culture.

Wild Bill,

Over here in Oregon, we have two culinary delights: beer and coffee.

Don't drink beer anymore, but I can vouch for the wide variety of finely crafted beers available in our area. Lots of small brewerys around here whose only focus is brewing a great beer.

Thankfully this stuff wasn't around when I was younger. I could never stand bud or miller or any of those other national brands. The microbrews are fantastic.

And coffee! A coffee shop opened a couple of years ago right next door to work. They only deal in fair trade, organic coffee beans, and roast their own. Their coffee is spectacular.

Seems like this question is better directed to Pee-Aire.
