He was great, and truly unique. This amazed me --I had no idea he was a drummer too: "Seals hit the road playing guitar with Earl Hooker in 1963, and soon after that as a drummer with Albert King (with whom he recorded the seminal Stax album Live Wire/ Blues Power)" I wore the grooves off that record, and had no idea. -Eric |

| Anonymous | Never heard of the guy. I don't live too far from Chicago and the only contemporary blues men I know of from there are Buddy Guy and a guy they call "The Chief." |
|---|---|
| bob p | if the only Chicago bluesman you're familiar with is Buddy Guy, you need to spend more time in the Chicago blues clubs. |
|---|---|
| Anonymous | Hey give me some credit. I also knew about "The Chief." You ever hear the Chief? |

| Anonymous | Her's a link to The Chief... http://www.eddyclearwater.com Now there's a real Chicago Bluesman! |
|---|---|
| bob p | yeah, i know The Chief. he was nominated for the best traditional blues album Grammy this year. i'd think that most blues fans in chicago have heard of him. |
