Repairing a loose tailpiece post?

| Frank | Repairing a loose tailpiece post? How would you go about securing a loose post on an SG? The hole is sloppy and my post is pulling out when I tighten the strings. Nothing worse than a sloppy hole, eh?  |

You will need to use a drill press to make the hole uniform then glue a hardwood dowel to fill it then redrill the hole for the stud. You will want to patch the finish but it's the only way I know. YMMV. |
