String savers saddles
Just picked up some string savers for my les paul. Any tips on installing these?

What are your opinions on them, like/dislike.

I am hoping these will solve a pesky G-string problem.

Thanks,

I would like to hear what people think of these too as Im considering installing a set on my strat guitar to help get rid of the sitar sounding hi E string.
Thanks

They work fine for me.
The sound seems to have more body and no more strings breaking at the bridge.
Any more questions about it?

Luijo,
How is the tone campared to the older saddles?
Also do these wear easily like the carbon fiber nut that some manufacturers use on guitars?
Thanks

Have mine installed for years now and no sign of wear whatsoever...
The tone is a little fatter, not a radical change but sound rounder than the old style fender saddles, you know, the thin classic ones(that i happen to hate,by the way)....
I also noticed an improvement in sustain, maybe due to the mass of the saddles...

Thanks for the info Luijo,
I'll probably get some this weekend for my strat as I love playing that guitar but the tone could stand to be a little fatter.
Thanks

You're welcome,please keep us informed...
Remember...it's not like installing a midboost or something like that, just a slight fattening in tone...
