Super Lead My 74 super lead is showing low plate voltages. The EL34's are around 240 volts. Any ideas? |

Sounds like you may be hooked up to the wrong transformer primary tap. Check your heater voltage and verify that it's 6.3VAC or thereabouts. RE |

Figured it out. Whoever "worked" on this amp before didn't have the power supply filter cap hooked up properly. Now it's where it shold be 440VDC @ the plates. |
