DIY signal generator?
Hi everybody!

I don't have the computer near the workshop anymore, so i can't use TTG or Sweepgen anymore. So i need a signal generator. Do you think a DIY one could be an option? I don't need much output, nor range. 2 volts output would be OK, i would amplify that with an amp if needed. I need 10/20 khz, but can cope with only 1Khz and 400HZ.

Bye'.

I've build one based on this:

Change the IC to NE5532 and you get 0.01% distortion...

Not DIY, but bought a good used HP 204C on Ebay for about $15-$20. Can't hardly beat that... don't have to fiddle with layouts, chassis, or anything. Works just great, too.
