Yeh, I've been wanting to get my amps to sound more like walkie talkies and high powered linear signal generators.
Just being sarcastic... I'm inclined to think that alot of the shielding, grounding, spacing, placement and other layout related issues that are mil-spec would be no better that what we lowley hack builders try to employ as set forth by actual audio engineers...Not radio repairmen.

go to turretboards.com you can get turret boards layed out for a bunch of amps and they have universal ones as well. they even have the tools to make your own custom turret boards.

Easy to build your own. The only "big" tool you need is a drill press.
The boards are usually 1/8" Garolite G10/FR4 (available from McMaster/Carr). Turrets are made by Keystone and are available from Mouser.
