Paul How does the Normal channel affect the tone?
When I play around with the Normal channel volume while struming a chord, I can't hear any difference when plugged into the Bright channel. When turning the Normal channel to 12 there's almost no sound, otherwise both channels work great independently.

Hi Paul

You can hear most of the effect above 10.
It does cause a mid-dip by loading the bright-channel output or next stage-input.

Hope this helps,

Chris

Paul Scratching my head...
I'll be damned if I can hear any difference when plugged into the Bright channel and fiddling with the Normal volume.

Hi Paul

The effect does start around "10" on a 1-12 scale...

Paul Thanks for the info...
OK, thanks guys. I built the Mission 5E3 and it is an ass-kicker! Real easy to build and I put a Celestion Blue in there with NOS RCA 6V6s. After reading about these amps for years and never having played one, I'm having a hell of a good time!
