| yale | TRi-amp anyone got a scem for a Hughes & kettner triamp head ? the link at scem heaven is bad. trying to find out why its popping the 10 amp internal fuse..........this thing looks like the space shuttle inside.. |

Re: TRi-amp Any 10 amp fuse I ever saw in a tube amp was for the heaters. Bad tubes can have shorts to the heaters from parts connected to other power supplies and that can blow the fuse. Anything that uses the 6VAC line is suspect. Does it have a light bulb for the pilot? Check its socket. LEDs run off a different supply. |

| yale | thanks !! weird though, the scem doesnt exactly match the amp, at least the layout pics. i got an email from H&k,telling me they had to add that 10a on the heaters for UL safety reg.But they recommend a 15a Super slow blow. |
